  Attended Florida Southern College and enjoyed growing flowers. KATHLEEN by Fannie Priest Kipp I first met Kathleen in 1945 when Earl and I (with dau. Flora and son Robert) moved to Orlando. Both of our husbands were in the Public School business and both of us were raised on Central Fla. truck farms, so we became true and fast friends from the very start until that friendship ended with the premature death of Kathleen due to a circulatory difficulty. Early In 1951, Kathleen and I decided it was high time the Brandchildren of Charlotte (Souter) and Jacob Leitner renewed acquaintances since all of these first cousins were getting along in years. Our love for her Dad, Benjamin Franklin Leitner and my Dad, Clarence Columbus Priest prompted us to take immediate action so the first Leitner Reunion at Juniper Springs, 20 May 1951 was the result. She and I were always pleased with the results.
